The winner takes the pot. ![](/files/jHjRiDvAJwoLYZb05G2o) # Blackjack European Blackjack Basics The game of European Blackjack has the same basic structure as other standard blackjack games. * The game is between the dealer(smart contract) and the player. * The objective is to get a hand of 21 or as close to that number as possible to win. * Cards from 2 to 9 are valued at their face value. * Cards from 10 to K are valued at 10 points each. * The Ace (A) has a value of 1 or 11. One basic difference is in the deal itself. **Once the bets are placed the dealer/SC deals out the cards.** * The player gets two cards, both face up. * The dealer (Smart Contract) gets the first card, which is an open card and is face up. At this point that is all he gets. His second card is dealt after the player has played his hand. ## Odds The odds for a player winning in a game of Blackjack is 42.22%. Vote for your favorite MEMEs and each period (two weeks\*) the Top 10 MEMEs share a prize pool of $NUTS, which come from fees when creating a MEME (costs 20k $NUTS / meme) and fees from voting (10k $NUTS / extra vote). # Creating Memes Rock, Paper, Scissors A MEME can be created every 10 minutes, to prevent spam. Just input the name of your MEME, select an image (JPG, PNG, WebP, Jfif) or a GIF and submit the transaction. (a CAPTCHA will also be triggered to prevent spam). The MEME image/GIF is saved on IPFS before the URL is sent to the contract. > In the future, MEMEs will also have a category, but for now all MEMEs are considered to be in the **funny** category. The MEMEs you create are **yours**, which means that you will receive an NFT **in your wallet,** which represents the created MEME. Each address gets **10 votes** per period that can be used to vote any MEMEs you want. Multiple MEMEs can be voted at a time for optimising gas fees. The smart contract keeps track of how many votes a MEME gets in each period, so MEMEs from older periods **can also** be in the Top 10 of the current period if they get enough votes. Likewise, a MEME can be in the Top 10 memes multiple times if it gets enough votes in multiple periods. # Rewards Top 10 MEME NFTs earn $NUTS rewards from the shared pool each period. If you don't have any Top MEME NFTs, you can check your account for MEME NFTs that can be upgraded or get one from 3rd party marketplaces. The **Rarity** of your Top MEME NFT determines the rewards you get relative to other NFTs: * Rare (1) -> 1x multiplier * Rare (2) -> 1.1x multiplier * Rare (3) -> 1.2x multiplier * ... * Rare (9) -> 1.8x multiplier * Rare (10) -> 2x multiplier * Super Rare -> 2.25x multiplier # Rarity Currently the NFTs on our platform can have the following rarity levels: * **Common** * every MEME created on our platform starts as rarity Common * *these NFTs have almost no value* * *part of the Meme NFT collection* * **Rare (n)** * MEMEs in Top 10 have a rarity of Rare (rarity 1 - 10 internally), followed by the inverse of the place they were in the top; eg: MEME in last place has rarity **1** and MEME in 1st place has rarity **10** * **these NFTs are really valuable, since only 10 of these NFTs are created each period (if two week period then \~260 NFTs per year)** * part of the *Top Meme NFT* collection * **Super Rare** * this rarity is reserved for exclusive MEMEs that come from our partners or are official platform MEMEs (rarity 255 internally) * **are more valuable than the 1st place NFT from the Top 10** * part of the *Top Meme NFT* collection The Rarity of an NFT is stored in the NFT attributes of the Top Meme NFT. A normal Meme NFT is upgraded to a Top Meme NFT if it was part of a Top 10, with the Rarity being stored in the attributes. If the NFT from the Top 10 is already a Top Meme NFT, the Rarity in the attributes is upgraded instead. Because the Rarity is stored at the NFT level, it is easy to build more functionalities in the future that takes this attribute into account (eg: referal system/staking/DAO contracts etc). # Upgrading Anyone with an MultiversX Wallet can create ***Common*** **MEME NFTs** on the platform, so those NFTs are not special. These are part of the ***MEME NFT*** collection. These NFTs can be upgraded to **Top Meme NFTs** if the MEME was part of a previous Top 10. The are upgraded by being burned and a new NFT from the new collection being issued. The ***Top Meme NFT*** collection will be tradable on NFT marketplaces and will actually have value on our platform. Only the Top 10 MEMEs every two weeks can be upgraded. A *common* meme NFT which was part of a Top 10 can be upgraded from the *Wallet Memes* page. # NFT Insurance ### Risk-free Investment To demonstrate our seriousness and long-term commitment, we have created this new concept that offers a risk-free investment for the MEMEverce VIP Cards NFT minters. If the NFT Floor Price falls below the Mint Price after 1 Year (17.06.2023) and the **Total staking rewards did not exceded 250 EGLD**, the minter will have the possibility to Claim back the EGLD paid to mint the NFT.
